The start of the season is nearly here. I have been getting my boat and all the equipment ready for the 2009 season. It is imperative that the boat is checked over and the engine, trailer etc are all serviced. Lines changed on the reels and hooks are changed on the lures.

- I am keen to promote the sport of trolling the Lochs of Scotlands , using the technique of trolling lures from a boat. There are many species of fish can caught using these technique. Species include Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Pike and that ellusive Ferox trout. My own passion is the Ferox trout. The Ferox is the most fascinating fish found in most if not all of Scotlands larger lochs. I am keen to promote its survival in Scotland. It is the most amazing feeling watching a Ferox swimming back to its natural habitat after being released.
